Minimal labor is required to install a helical pile; the anchor is spun into the ground using modeled torque and penetration values and then load tested to confirm the model’s accuracy. Our teams use several types of drills depending on the soil condition, often favoring dangle motors mounted on excavators or other readily available pieces of earth-moving equipment. Helical pile installation can be completed with as few as two employees, and at a high production rate.
